Call The Ride

Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-05-30. Plain-language; if you'd like the lawyer version, ask via contact and we'll work on one.

What this app is

Call The Ride helps cyclists coordinate group rides. It uses data from Strava (with your permission) to predict group pace and suggest kit. It's not a coaching service, not a medical service, and not a navigation service.

Use at your own risk — cycling involves real risk

Cycling on roads is inherently dangerous. Pace predictions, kit suggestions, "your fit" verdicts, and coach takes are informed guesses, not professional advice. You ride at your own risk. Use your own judgment. Follow all applicable traffic laws. We're not liable for crashes, injuries, lost rides, dropped groups, or hurt feelings.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your Strava account secure. We sign you in via Strava OAuth and don't store your Strava password.

Acceptable use

We can suspend accounts that violate the above without notice.

Service availability

The app is in beta. Features may change or break. We'll do our best to give notice for breaking changes, but we make no uptime promises during beta.

Changes to terms

We'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, post a notice in the app before they take effect.
